Text Message Terms

Last reviewed: September 29, 2026

To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message. It takes effect immediately, and it will not affect your child's care — we will reach you by phone or email instead.

Noor Pediatric Therapy sends text messages to parents and guardians who have asked us to. This page explains what those messages are and how to stop them.

What we text about

  • Appointment confirmations, reminders and schedule changes
  • Follow-up from a session, such as home exercises or a question from your therapist
  • Replies to messages you send us

Messages are written by our staff and go to one family at a time. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we do not text anyone who has not asked us to.

How you opt in

By ticking the text messaging box on our patient intake form and giving us your mobile number. The box is not ticked for you, and you do not have to tick it — you will receive care either way, and we will call or email you instead.

This is the wording on the form:

Channel Preferences — Pick what we can send and how

Please select the communication methods you authorize Noor Pediatric Therapy to use when contacting you. Communications may include protected health information (PHI) related to your child's plan of care, appointment details, billing, and financial information.

Text messaging. Noor Pediatric Therapy may contact me by text message at the mobile number above about my child's appointments and care. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See noorpediatrictherapy.com/text-message-terms.

Email

Voice call / voicemail

Each box is separate and none is ticked in advance. Ticking the email or voice box does not sign you up for text messages, and the form can be submitted with all three left blank. Consent is recorded with the date and the mobile number you gave us.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your child's schedule and what you write to us about. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Noor Pediatric Therapy does not charge you for text messages.
