Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: May 11, 2026

Our commitment

At Noor Pediatric Therapy, we believe every family deserves equal access to information about our services and to the care we provide. We are committed to making noorpediatrictherapy.com usable by the broadest possible audience, including parents and caregivers who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition, switch devices, or keyboard-only navigation.

Conformance status

We design and develop our website with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard for web accessibility, and to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

We test our pages using a combination of automated accessibility tools (axe, Lighthouse, WAVE) and manual review with keyboard navigation and screen reader testing. Like most websites, we may not yet meet every guideline in every place — accessibility is a continuous improvement effort, and we are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining issues.

Features we've built in

  • Semantic structure — proper use of headings, landmarks, lists, and ARIA labels so screen readers can navigate the page meaningfully
  • Keyboard navigation — every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone
  • Skip-to-content link at the top of every page for keyboard users
  • Sufficient color contrast on text and interactive elements, meeting WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios
  • Descriptive alternative text on images that convey information
  • Resizable text that remains readable when zoomed to 200%
  • Responsive design that works on phones, tablets, and desktops
  • Form labels and error messages that announce clearly to assistive technology
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion for users who experience motion sensitivity
  • Focus indicators visible when navigating with a keyboard

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of our website may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas we are working on include:

  • Some embedded third-party content (such as Google Maps and video players) is outside our direct control and may have its own accessibility characteristics
  • Older PDF documents may not be fully screen-reader-optimized; we are in the process of updating these
  • Some animations on the site may not perfectly degrade for all combinations of assistive technology

If you encounter any of these — or any other barrier — we want to know. Please reach out using the contact information below and we'll address it as quickly as we can.

Accessibility at the clinic

Our physical clinic at 33 W Higgins Rd, Suite 4070, South Barrington, IL is also designed with accessibility in mind. Our space is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking, an elevator, and accessible restrooms. If you have specific accessibility needs for an upcoming visit, please let us know in advance so we can make sure your experience is comfortable.

Need a different format?

If any information on this website is not accessible to you, we are happy to provide it in an alternative format — including large print, plain text, audio, or any other format that works for you. Just contact us and let us know what you need.

How to report an accessibility issue

We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our site, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

We will do our best to acknowledge your message within two business days and to provide a substantive response within ten business days. If we cannot immediately fix the issue you've raised, we will explain the timeline and offer an alternative way to access the information you need.
